The Biokosma Quality Principles

• BIOKOSMA only uses total extracts and essences of fresh plants - these active agents originate almost exclusively from controlled organically cultivation or wild growth to guarantee highest biological activity.
• BIOKOSMA only uses plant oils and waxes - there are no mineral oils used such as Vaseline or paraffin or its derivatives in any of the products since they burden the skin.
• BIOKOSMA does not use any raw material from dead animals - animal fats, elastin and collagen are banned. Just beeswax, propolis, milk proteins and milk powder are employed as ingredients.
• BIOKOSMA does not use raw materials which derive from genetically engineered seeds or plants.
• BIOKOSMA uses natural methods of preservation - vitamins, alcohol, sugar combinations, extracts and essences prevent the finished products from oxidation and perishing.
• BIOKOSMA products are pH-balanced - they preserve the skin's natural acid protecting coat; in the slightly acid environment the plant oils, extracts and essences provide highest effectiveness.
• BIOKOSMA never tests the products on animals - components as well as the final products are tested by volunteers in a university clinic environment on their own skin to prove the effectiveness and skin tolerance.
